This memorial website was created to remember our friend and coworker,
Sarah Meltzer who passed away on
March 18, 2012. You will live forever in our memories and hearts.
Sarah was one of the most amazing people I have ever met. Her constant willingness to help others without hesitation will always stand out in my mind. Her ability to make others feel good about themselves and laugh when things got too serious is just one quality that made her so unique and special. Sarah was the type of person that would go out of her way to listen and be there for you.
As a Targeted Case Manager, the children on her caseload looked up to her and she made a huge impact on their lives. Sarah cared for these kids when others had given up on them and accepted each one of them unconditionally. She will be missed greatly. She was a one of a kind case manager and a great friend.
Myself and a few others have created "Sarah's Fund." It is a fund that will help to pay for counseling for individuals that cannot afford counseling. This was very dear to Sarah's heart. Sarah volunteered her time counseling individuals who could not afford counseling every week during her free time. We would like to collect donations on Sarah's behalf and present it to the center she volunteered at. If you would like to donate please give what you can and know that it is going to an amazing cause. You can donate by logging into your paypal account
www.paypal.com and send donation money to
wwjujubee@gmail.com. Please note the "donate" button on this page is not working properly. Any amount small or large will help! I cannot help but see Sarah's smile in my mind as I write this. She would be happy.

an imperfect Christian |

I can still hear her over the dinner table in reply to me telling her that 'while I'm not Jewish I had a lot of respect for the faith', "nobody's perfect".
I'm going to miss her. And I think I'll go get a knish from Toojay's this weekend.

A sweet person |

Sarah was always such a sweet person to speak with on the phone as well as be apart of the lifeshare family. She had a big heart and really wanted to help everyone. It is sad to not have her here in person but knowing she is in a good place and watching over others I will be at ease.
